It is a great idea to have interesting threads or topics. When they see them, they will likely to participate. In addition, an active forum can motivate them to join.
I will miss the times when I was just starting - how I set up my blog, how much time I spent on it, and so on. In terms of forum, I will miss the members, that is for sure!
I think it is a good idea for a forum admin to admit his or her mistake. Honesty is the best policy. When the forum admin is honest in making a mistake, it can let the members know that s/he is authentic and can be trusted.
I do not think I can blog daily. It can be exhausting, especially given my health condition right now. However, if my blog already is generating income, I won’t mind writing blog posts daily.

Allowing members to delete their posts comes with advantages and disadvantages. In terms of advantages, when they accidentally posted a sensitive information, they can delete it, without a hitch. On the other hand, it can be bad for the forum. When a new member joins and there are missing...
I have never made my own theme. I find
it quite time-consuming. I usually use
the free themes I find online and just change the font face and size if there is a need to do so.
Both light and dark modes should be available on your blog or forum. They can select which one they prefer more. In my case, I prefer dark mode when it comes to forums.
Some blog and forum admins make their websites look messy. They use too many ads that can annoy potential forum members or blog readers. Also, they make bad choices in terms of font colors and use a lot of images that can slow down their websites.
I make sure that I design for both mobile and desktop users. I test everything first before I settle on my chosen theme. However, I noticed that more people use their mobile phones to research, do online
shopping, and so on. So, I guess others design their blog or forum for mobile users first.
To not overwhelm the members with the forum’s layout, it is helpful to stick with designs or themes that are easy on the eyes. Potential members tend to shy away when the forum looks messy. Make sure the design or theme looks good both on computers and smartphones.
I do not make big changes in terms of the font size. However, in terms of the font face, I stick with the original. I just make a change if the original font is hard to read.
Maintaining visual consistency is indispensable. People will easily identify when you use the same colors and fonts on every page of your blog or forum. Stay organized so visitors have a higher chance of staying longer on your website to read content and participate.
