No, I don’t allow guests to post on my forum. I’m not going to enable spammers to flood my forum in any type of capacity.
I've set up chanForo's framework to allow guest posting because it's based on an anonymous image board that works on top of XenForo.
The only thing stopping me now is deciding whether I want AI to check for the BAD stuff or if I want it to run through Cloudflare. I'm just unsure about the legalities behind something being uploaded that shouldn't be uploaded...
FD also allows guest posting for reviews/questions on forums. There's no reason to join FD to leave a review.

I feel like some circumstances call for guest use.
A directory would be one of them. I'll leave a review as a guest but I'm likely not going to go through the registration and confirmation process to leave a website review. Enabling guest reviews makes it easier to get that needed engagement and social proof on directory entries.
