Aside from general responsiveness of modern forum platforms, have you looked into other mobile solutions for your forum?

Are there any plugins or app building services available for the forum software you're using to enhance the mobile experience? It is said that all websites should be mobile first if they really want to thrive and survive in today's cyber infrastructure. So, what more are you doing to accomplish this?

Or do you feel like the responsiveness features of most modern forum software is enough?

Most forums are doing the best with the technology they run on. That being said there always room for improvements.

IMO, there is more room for improvement than what's already there.

A responsive theme isn't enough in 2025.

Mobile first, is more the way they should proceed with future development.
With latest technology of bootstrap or something this probably is possible.

The fun is how any app will handle add-ons, especially those that are more extensive than just tweaks to the base offering..
I'm sure it can be done, but it would require a close integration and maybe even 1st party add-on to the scripts to provide the core for it.

That and requiring addons be made with certain tech or markups.

That will definitely be a big focus.
