How does everyone feel about this topic?

If your forum is struggling and you need ideas to generate content, would it be justified to use AI-generated content?

If you feel this is justified, why is it justified?

If you disagree with it, why, and what advice would you recommend be done instead?

Do you use or have you used AI-generated content on your forum?

I can see the draw of using AI content to get started. I personally prefer not to, but if I did, I would have to edit the posts myself to make sure they seem human enough.

That's where it can become difficult because for people who know how to detect it, it becomes an easy task and all it takes is for someone to suspect it and that will likely cause them not to be a part of a community.

I pride myself on posting high quality and valuable content on forums that aren't mine. If I spot a forum full of AI-generated content, I'll be honest, I'm not going to join the forum and be active. So, that forum loses out on someone who wants to post the best content possible because I want to talk to people who are real.

I think if you have to edit the content, why not just create it in the first place? You're already doing the same amount of work.

I'll use AI to suggest topic titles but then I'll completely write the title and body on my own because it's my voice and it's my creativity.

I use AI as a tool not a creativity replacement service.
