How often do you login to your blog and view the admin area?

I probably log into my blog every other day to look for any updates or something like that.

I have the app on my phone in case there are comments, so I really don't need to login much aside from that.

How about you? If you're logging in, what are you logging in for?

Most of the time, it's just logging in to keep up with everything that's happened on the blog when I was awake. I'm not always online which means that there are some things that would happen which needs my attention when I'm online. Those are the things I look out for when I'm back on.

Blogs are easy to stay logged out of.

Forums demand our constant attention if we really want to be better forum owners that is.

But a blog is pretty much at a standstill unless you post new content or occasionally get a new comment.

If there's a lot of users following or subscribed to a blog and there's steady publication of interesting contents, such a blog will definitely have a lot of comments. There's a blogger here known as Linda Ikeji Blog, her blog is filled with so much engagement.

I feel like blog comments have been on the decline over the past few years.

Linda Ikeji Blog still gets a lot of comments on her published articles daily. I think it's all about the value one offers and type of audience that determines if they will be getting more comment or not.

Seeing a whole lot of 0 comments :P

However, it looks like multiple posts are being posted each day there. I think when you scale your content like that, you have more of a chance of getting more comments because that much content typically gets read by more people, especially if a big following has been established.
