Here's a scenario:

You see members of your own forum that are on other forums and actively misbehaving and abusing the rules.

Now, it didn't happen on your forum, but you can tell that they are blatantly breaking the rules on other forums.

Would this cause you to watch them closer on your forum?

Would you ever consider banning them, so they don't get the chance to do it on your forum?

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. I wouldn't ban them in my forum when they haven't done anything wrong but I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled on all their activities.

I'm pretty much the same on that stance.

If they started acting out on my forum, at least I'd have a warning of that possibility.

Exactly! Depending on the severity of the offense they committed is what's going on determine how many times I would be sending them a warning before I will take any action against them.

I don't see the reason for reacting to how they acted on another forum. While my eyes would be on them, I would just treat such a case as if it were none of my business. This is because it is too much work pokenosing at a matter that doesn't concern me.

As far as it didn't happen in my forum, I won't ever consider taking any disciplinary measures on members of my forum that misbehave in other forums. I might have to watch them closely on my own forum. I think that's the stand of all other forum owners.

On a second thought, even though it's not my business what they are doing on another forum, depending on how close I'm with the person, I might send him a DM on my own forum to ask why they are behaving that way on another forum.

I think I would definitely watch them a bit closer on my forum. Even if the misbehavior didn’t happen here, knowing someone has a pattern of breaking rules elsewhere is a warning sign.

I probably wouldn’t ban them right away but I’d be ready to step in if they start causing trouble.
