Many forum software platforms offer the ability for the admin to allow social media integration.

This means that new members can sign up/in to the forum through their preferred social media platform.

We see it for Google, Facebook, X, and others.

Some feel it's a good way to get more members. But are these signups actually being counted somewhere where we can see a metric that proves this?

How do you feel about such a feature? Do you allow it? Has it helped out at all?

Social media integration is a great idea, especially if you are a forum owner. It can make joining your forum a walk in the park. Members can share interesting threads on their socials which can help promote your forum site.

I haven't implemented it yet; honestly, I'd never thought about it. Now that you mention it, it doesn't seem like a bad idea at all, but I should implement it first before telling you if it's a good idea or not.
