How long do you give your forum a chance to grow before you shut it down?
What's the process of shutting it down? Do you sell it or just close it down?
General forums are fun.
I used to hate joining them but anymore, I like it.
I also like running my general forum. It's starting to pickup and that's cool to see!
I went to the doctor once this year. The other day. Got on some medicine for my sinus issues but other than that, clean bill of health. Won't be back until this time next year. This keeps my insurance premiums down.
Some people let their addictions get way too advanced to be able to quit even if they know it's going to kill them.
Wilderness therapy is best for those people. Put them out in the middle of nowhere where they can't run to get a fix.
That's a good habit to have.
I also try to do this. On forums, it's a lot easier. On my Facebook page that gets hundreds of posts a day, it's not as easy ha!
Yep. That's how most of mine are. They'll even mention the areas mentioned in my blog posts. But their obvious links lets me know they're just spammers!
That's how I did it before and it worked well.
However, I remember using AMS in the past and liked it, so I figured I would try using it instead.
If it doesn't work out, I can always convert the articles back the threads later on.
What's the most evergreen piece of content you've published on your forum or blog?
Evergreen content is content that remains fresh. This is the kind of content that you want because it keeps people coming back.
