    I think you're right about that. I think Word of Mouth is really the greatest marketing asset for a forum. If your members are loyal enough to promote you, then you're successfully creating a community. A community is different than a forum.

    Blogs promote themselves

    Some people have told me they think a blog will simply promote itself over time. What do you think about that statement? Do you think it's easier to focus on the blogging part and let others find you organically rather than trying to promote your blog and its content?

    Howdy folks, I've done some reorganization of the categories and boards. AAF has evolved from a forum admin community to a forum and blog admin community. I wanted to make sure I reflect that this community is for bloggers, too. I've moved some sections around, changed some of the wording, etc...

    My wife knows I have forums. She's not really into forums. She uses social media but has never been into computers, so it's always been her phone. She knows I have quite a few of them. She also knows they're just hobbies for me. She knows my blogs are the money makers.
