    Most people I know are not running forums for money. They are running forums because they love it. I do not think there are too many people actually trying to run a forum to make money. The main reason why people quit forums is because they cannot built it into a thriving community.

    Low quality post bothers me only when it comes from someone who has received incentives, either through a paid posting deal or through the posting package or post exchange deal.

    I learned there is something called "made for pinterest images" I studied what kind of images got a lot of repins and try to replicate same thing. My pinned images were basically infographics or design inspired.

    Not for forums but for blogs. I was fairly successful on Pinterest. But later I could not spend time promoting on PInterest as I was too busy with X and Facebook.

    I don't think so. Maybe she sold the forum to someone else and the new owner decided to change the domain. The forum I sold was using xyz, and not many people are favorable with domains other than dot com.
