    Are .community domains ideal for forums?

    What do think about the .community extension? Have you used .community for any of your forums? I have one forum with the .community extension. I have no regrets as I love my domain name, and .community domains are TLD's so it's good for SEO.

    I use Google captcha, and a security question, and for normal members spamming. I might give them a chance, depending on the situation. If they don't listen to my warnings, than I'll ban them them.

    I've been noticing more traffic to my forums from search engines. You need to steadily build links, and create fresh content. It takes time to see results from SEO.

    Could your forum survive without your activity?

    I don't think so. My forum relies on me creating new discussions. My staff would help keep it alive if I were to disappear for a bit, but I didn't build my forum to stay alive. I want to grow, improve, and expand my forum over time.
