    There is no decline in usage. Check MyBB and phpBB. People request every day for the next version. Forum scene is still a solid business model.

    In most cases, it is easy to tell. Human-generated, nicely written content stands out and is easily readable. It does helps with SEO as well.

    Drupal improved a lot in the last couple of years. But I think they are now Composer only. You will need command line access to install it. That's what it was when I last checked.
