ChatGPT can be great if you know how to fix the errors.
I would suggest to use trusted/proven tutorial sites. And a little ChatGPT. You can find your sweet spot as you go.
Actually, you gave me an idea. Making a little extension to remove banners from signatures :) I can do that in about 20 minutes :) I love you @Cedric every day you bring value to my life :)
Not really a solution, If I could take only your banner would be awesome. But I like to click on user's signatures. They put it for a reason, they want to show something to the
world, and I may end up liking it.
I really don't like to see banners in signatures. Even if they are as beautiful as @Cedric says. :) it's like you are forcing me to watch TV. I hate it lol....
I mean, I find it disturbing (it's just me, my opinion)
As I said before... Are any of those metric in high numbers? I bet not. I am sure if you get 500k threads/posts, you will definitely show them proudly.
That's a good one. Each of our post represent more value to us, hence we tend to post more.
I enabled that on some subscriptions at my forum as an extra perk.
Those stats tell somehow the state of the community and each member. They are not just vanity, they are a gauge how much a
user has been active/contributing on the community. On occasions, people tend to not give value to those metrics when they don't have them
in good numbers to show off. But...
I do not open second accounts on any forum. Only one account and that's it. I got temporary bans from some forums (mainly for posting on wrong categories..) when I started my forum journey very long time ago. But I respected the banned period.
About members on my forum, I haven't banned anyone...
I have used on live Forums as admin:
vBulletin (very long time ago)
xenForo (current)
I have played around with others mentioned above, but not to the point to say "I have used it as a live forum".
And I wouldn't like to move to another until I become an expert on xenForo.
