I tend to write a lot on my days off from my full time job. I'll go to my job and I'll do chores when I get home so that my days off are free for me to work on my blog.
I started my blog because I don't really have anyone else to share my passion of reading and literature with. So I started a blog in the hope that other people who enjoy reading would be able to find me (or find my blog).
I don't like messing with my consistency. I normally do at least 10 articles per month, that's my bare minimum. I'm trying to write enough to stay in the game but I don't want to push myself to write every single day in case I have days where I'm sick or just too tired or whatever.

My blog is literature based. However, I can branch out and do movies and/or tv shows based on literature so it can include other things I like as well.
I know better than to expect to get rich overnight. It's rare that someone's blog will blow up like that and become a money juggernaut.
I do think some people are inpatient and I can see where an inpatient person would expect things to happen that quickly.
I do have a notebook that I'll write down ideas first. That way, no matter where I'm at, I can write out ideas......especially if something comes to me while I'm out and about. You never know when the inspiration will hit you.
Plus, I can write out my ideas while I'm waiting in line...
