My forum has used up 42.5gb of bandwidth, 531.51 MB /database size and 1.57gb total disc space.
It’s growing quite steady every month with the database increasing more.
That’s a great way to do it. I also keep backups on a private drive, my laptop and my phone.
That way I always have enough backups incase of an emergency. I also have 3 daily backups in place on my server itself.
I generally sleep about 7-9 hours a day. If not, more. I also take naps during the day as well.

I’ve blocked the entire country zone of Russia and china before via Cloudflare(waf’s) settings.

Yes, I always stay logged in. I don’t log out unless I’m testing things out as a guest. I have three browsers installed on my phone and two installed on my laptop for testing purposes & browsing.
I tend to try to stay active on forums that I’m not staff on as I do long term post exchanges with some forum owners.
I also post on other forums that I really enjoy if I’m not too busy with some of my projects.
There’s various webmaster related conventions that are held every year, especially in regards to SEO and other things. These conventions would be a great place to pass out flyers and business cards.
Flyers would work well, especially if you can get them done cheap and put them up in movie...
Flyers could work for promoting a forum if you place them in busy areas. I personally haven’t tried it, but I’ve seen them work in the past for other things.
You can actually run a pagespeed test and find any accessibility issues that are wrong with your site. It’s not up to xenforo to fix that.

Not sure how many people do this, but it's an interesting perspective. I've seen some people sell their forums in the past, but then come right back. It is kind of weird though, but I'm guessing they were hurting for money?

I haven't no, but theadminzone looks like it's trending that way. It's a shame that there's a lot of inactive forums running on the internet. Once its sold, it's generally not the same forum after that.
