I think Ghost is good if all you need is a blog. Personally, I rarely extend my blogs. Ghost might be a better solution for me but I'm probably going to stick to WP unless it folds up and then I might consider Ghost as an alternative.
I really should download the software and try it out, though.
Oh yeah. Facebook does that all the time. I have admin assist enabled on my groups, but I always have to look at its activity because it will target real users who aren't doing anything wrong and then approve the video spammers.
And you definitely risk that kind of retaliation if you ban someone for a bad reason like that.
I've created competing forums after being warned for posting too much.
I mainly mean a one-person show.
Most forums are run by one owner who makes all the decisions and rules. It's their way or no way.
It's basically the same definition as a dictator. Now all the cruelty from them is a different story.

Or would you rather maintain a video blog? Vlogging, YouTube, etc.
Why one over the other? Why not both?

What is the overall mission and purpose of your forum?
Even better...
What's the mission for YOU to get from your forum, as well?
I don't disagree.
Sure, it takes away from the forum, or at least the traditional way of communicating on a forum.
