    💯 but i’m just saying if you create duplicate content on 2 sites you own SEO would ve massively reduced. Also I don’t recommend SEP tining all user generated content as SEO tools these days are smart enough to pick up on such tactics

    I think it’s mostly longer term members returning to or remaining at established forums from back in the day. But newer members are unlikely to remain active for long, not least if there’re not many members online. What a domino effect!

    Sounds necessary but the only issue is that, just like I’ve seen with paying members to post, I can smell a mile off when members are posting out of obligation or they are authentic

    Yeah either that or they are friends with them either because they are long term members or they chat outside the forum or they have things in common.. I’m not sure it’s possible for humans to be completely unbiased imo especially on big boards where there may not be enough time to investigate...

    I’ve seen that too - too many posts for the staff to read properly, and so sometimes a group will single out a member and pile onto them causing them to react. Then complain to staff - this is the first thing they see and the target gets punished
