Admin/Mod Drama

Have you ever had any admin/moderator drama on your forum? From other admins or mods that is?

Were they ex-admin/ex-mod staff members or were they current?

How did you handle it?

I've not had an admin vs moderator crisis or drama on forums that I have been a member or staff on. This makes me wonder the reason an admin would end up hiring a mod that won't respect authorities. It is a sign that the recruitment process is poor and should be reassessed going forward.

I have had some moderator drama in the past. One of the current mods started disagreeing with how I was handling approvals and it caused some tension in the team. I handled it by having a calm one-on-one conversation, listening to their concerns and setting clear expectations.

After that, things settled down and the forum ran much smoother.
