Has a ban on your forum ever resulted in gaining an enemy for life?

Most forum bans should be simple. You ban the violator and be done with it. However, some bans might result in such anger and hatred from the one who is banned that they become your enemy for life.

Most enemies will do whatever they can to disrupt your community peace, as well.

Have any of you had to deal with this? What was the overall outcome? How would you deal with it?

Nope, if I ban someone, then that's it. I'm not worried about gaining an enemy over the situation. They should have abided by my forum rules and regulations.
If they have forced you to ban, then they have done something really bad. I feel like you're a lot like me and it takes a lot for you to consider a ban.

I've had someone turn into an enemy off forums. We used to be friends, I got him to be hired and work on Posting Bay when I helped Devin run it. He used because of our friendship not to take his jobs serious and our clients started complaining. I tried talking with him on several occasions because I was the staff manager but he wasn't listening.

I had to report him to Devin and he got fired, that was when he came back to attack me saying I should have protected him as my friend. He immediately forgot I was trying to get him do his job as and at when due but he wasn't listening until he was sacked. He has hated on me since then till today.

Money can reveal who a person truly is.
This is a cold hard truth. In everything you're doing in life with people, just find out if they are weak or strong. If they are weak and money is their problem, they will definitely betray you once it serves their needs.

If he were truly your friend, he would have done anything to make you look good with his job/responsibilities on the forum. So he was never your friend to start with. You really don't want that kind of "friends".

You're absolutely right about that. All I found out about him was that it was only about what he would gain from the friendship and he doesn't care if he burns me in the process.

Getting rid of him was a very good decision.
