Passive income is when you make money behind the scenes with little or no effort.

The most work you'll typically do is the initial product/service creation. After that you setup the payment and delivery process (automated) and then collect the money as it's made.

Premium membership is a form of passive income.

However, I'm sure some of you have found other forms on it. Or maybe you'd like to turn your current income sources to a more passive strategy.

Let's discuss all things passive income on forums here! :)

Well, passive income is a mayor focus on my forum, but not only for me as the forum owner, but also to all users as well.
The main passive income tactic I use is by setting up subscriptions and sharing 50% recurring commissions with users for referrals to join the
community and any other subscription/tools/features I create on my projects. As the community matures, there will be more tools, services and products where all users can benefit from by referring them (it only gets better as more time pass by). Members with marketing skills and/or abilities to refer new users and clients can make a killing.

I am always looking forward to create subscriptions that allows recurring commissions. It's a win-win scenario for the forum itself and for all it's users.
As a forum owner, we should look for ways to benefit as much as possible those participating in the community, And sharing 50% (recurring) it's a big motivator for many members to stick around for the long run.

You definitely have a great example of passive income and passive income sharing on your forum! Great job with that! :)
