Do you think it's worth it using influencer marketing?

Influencer marketing involves paying high level social media personnels and likey celebrities to talk about your brand, business or forums. Their promotional services are usually very expensive but they will bring in guaranteed traffic to your websites.

Have you ever used influencer marketing? Was it worth it?

If you can find an influencer in your niche that will not only promote your forum but also become a member and post here and there, then I think it can work.

Their followers will want to be able to engage with them more. If they don't join your forum, I doubt too many of their followers will join, as well. It takes a lot of energy to join a website but it is just a quick click of a button to like or follow a social media page on the platform they're already on.

That leads me to this strategy:

Promote a social page for your forum rather than promoting your forum. Get platform followers and convert them on social.
