Does being not mobile-first kill forum experience?

Every expert says if you're not mobile-first, you're doing it wrong.

Chance is the majority of your website visitors are mobile.

You might say most of your members are non-mobile, but that would make sense if your forum isn't mobile-friendly.

Do you think not being mobile will keep a forum from growing?
 
I think so. There's a good majority of my members that use mobile, and it would be difficult for them to browse my site if we weren't mobile friendly.
I agree. Even if the majority of them isn't posting, I bet everyone's' views are mainly coming from mobile.
