My forum experienced some downtime a few months ago when our server’s operating system was upgraded from CloudLinux 7 to 8.


The downtime wasn’t too long. My server typically only goes down for maintenance.

The downtime wasn’t too long. My server typically only goes down for maintenance.

That's usually when mine goes down.

However, the past few early mornings, I've had a few 30 minute downtimes spurts each night.

Discovered it was bot traffic and a lot of it on a website I really haven't updated in years, Ultimately decided to kill the site.

All my servers are in California, I think. That's a state waiting for major disasters!

But that's also where everything is at. Big platforms, everything. If they ever go down, America is going to look A LOT different but none of us will see it because our phones and apps won't work!
