First Favorite and Favorite Now

When first starting in the forum space, what forum software was your favorite?

How about today? Has that changed?

What is your favorite forum software now?

If it changed, why did it change?

First was UBB. Stared on homemade hacked up questbook script. Went to wwwboard. When I found UBB it was heaven.

Favorite now and for a while is IPB. I would have never switched, originally went to IPB when vbulletin went downhill, if not for a miscommunication from IPB staff.

First favorite was IPB. Now it’s a tie between Invision and XF. Although have been using primarily XF the last 10 years or so.

I'm going to have to break down and try Invision, I reckon. I might use it to replace one of my forums that uses the free software.
