Do you or have you ever used a free forum hosting service?

Examples would be like ProBoards, Forumotion, Zeta Boards, etc,

Many of these free forum hosts are no longer in use.

I used ProBoards for a small amount of time and then went on to other self-hosted software.

I have in the past used jCink, ProBoard and Forumotion for a free forum and out of all of those, I found jCink the better option at least for me to use.

I find free forum hosting perfect for hobby forums.

I have never used them, in fact I didn't even know about it, but thank you very much for sharing these free ways with us, when I finally manage to create my forum this information will be of great help to me, thank you very much

My first paid web hosting account was with FreePgs.com (now defunct) which gave a lot of space but costed about $8 a year.

I used Tripod Lycos at one time. It was ad supported but free. That was back in the 90s!
