Which do you use and which do you prefer here?
There is generic affiliate marketing which is using something like Amazon where you'll create a link for practically anything that Amazon offers.
Then there is specific affiliate marketing.
That's where you find specific brand (usually that you enjoy using) and join their affiliate programs to specifically use their affiliate links.
Which do you use and which do you feel is better over all in terms of profiting?
