Hashtags on X

I see so many people using hashtags on X.

Even Elon Musk, the new owner, makes posts telling people to quit using them.

What do you think? Do you still use them? Why?

When you hashtag it makes your post appear more but realistically it's internal spam on X that means good information posts can get lost.

I don't think I've ever even search by hashtag on X to be honest. I don't ever search by hashtag on any of the platforms, I feel like the majority of people using hashtags for anything are the ones adding it to their content.
