How do we merge two phpbb forums

I need to merge two phpbb forums but I cannot do it. I checked phpbb support forums and the guys there said I need to use a script and there were no addons/plugins that allowed merge. The probem with me is I can manage phpbb forum front end but not backend. Is there an easy way to merge two phpbb forums? In case, I want to merge phpbb with Xenforo, is it possible, how do I do it?

I believe XF has a a phpBB importer. I'm not sure if it will work with merges of multiple phpBB forums or not. I know that for the longest it could not even do that with XenForo forums, but they did resolve that issue.
