Post exchanges are great for getting more members and content.

Is this something you do on your forum?

If so, how often do you conduct post exchanges with other forum owners?

Tell us about you @Shawn Gossman :P

My forum was primarily made of post exchanges and it felt like a lot of effort and so I abandoned my efforts 🤣
Which is why I don’t do exchanges. They’re a burden. And if you don’t want to do it, it’s not the quality of content you can deliver.

I’ve done exchanges before and always had trouble keeping my end.

Either I post because I want to because I read content that I want to engage to. Or I don’t. Simple.

I feel post exchanges it's just too much time consuming to create a board based on that method. I rather pay per posts 200%.
Yeah, exactly. Time that you’re better spending on your forum instead of someone else’s so to speak. I mean, it’s all very noble to exchange posts, but those hours, days you’re spending on other forums is time you can’t retrieve to spend on yours.

I participate in post exchanges and believe they can be highly beneficial, especially if you already have active members contributing.

They help lay a strong foundation for your community and can accelerate its growth.

I don’t find them time-consuming, as long as you prioritize working on your forum first.

The key is to use post exchanges strategically, ensuring they enhance your efforts rather than overwhelm or burden you.

I agree with everything you've just said :)
