How often do you travel long distances?

As in vacationing and what not?

Long time I don't travel for vacation. I even forgot when was the last time.
Driving 4 - 12 hours it's kind of the norm when doing delivery on my business. (an average of 7 hours)

My last one was our honeymoon in August.

We went to Cades Cove in Tennessee in the Smoky Mountains.

7 hour drive one way but I took a scenic route to avoid driving in Nashville and Knoxville because I'm not good with cities.

I often travel long distances by land to accompany my special someone when he needs to renew his work license. I love traveling, but it can be tiring at times, especially when I am not feeling well. My most recent trip was to Zambales, which is about five hours away from here.

I have FTO which is Flex Time Off. I'm salary. I really have no set days, but I don't abuse the benefit. I might take a week off a year and a few extended weekends.

I would say I’m a “casual fan” of traveling. When the mood strikes, I’m all for hopping on a plane and going to a new part of the world I haven’t been to yet. But honestly, traveling is just another form of escapism and consumerism. It doesn’t make you better than everyone else.

I don't think travel is supposed to make you better than someone else.

In fact, I think it makes YOU a better person. It gives you the opportunity to learn different cultures even if just in your backyard.

Typically two to three times a year. I travel to visit my mom and dad when I can get a week or more off from work.

At the moment not much, due to lack of money, but it is obvious that in the future I will surely travel a lot and quite a bit, because I am sure I will have enough money

Local travel by bicycle is a great alternative when you don't have the money :D

I travel 2-3 times in a year, either to go to my parents house who live 500 kilometres away or to travel to various places.

My folks are about 90-100km away from me, so it's not too much of a trek. But I can see why you only get to go see them 2 or 3 times a year.

Not as often as I would really love to travel. I enjoy traveling but due to the cost of moving from one place to another, I only travel when I have something important to do there.

I live in California so I find traveling to be a downgrade from my current surroundings. I am already in paradise.

Just kidding... Its fun to get out and experience different places. I would do it more often but its so expensive.

That's what I love about living where I live.

I can drive anywhere from 5 minutes to 1.5 hours to see the best my areas have to offer which is a lot (in terms of nature)

When my grandmothers was still alive (may their souls rest in peace, Amen) I used to travel home at least twice in a year and it's a must for me to travel every December period for Christmas.
