Why would you want to talk about something that is long dead as far as any real advancement. IPB has been buried for years according to Invision. ;)
Personally it is a pet peeve of mine when people refer to the more modern software now known as Invison (granted it has changed multiple times over the years) by the archaic name of IPB.
If it was still IPB, folks would still have a perpetual license.:ROFLMAO:
From what I have seen, IPB really only now refers to the free hosting site like ipbfree that are using a decade+ version of what is now Invision.
But I do wish you well with the attempt. You would have been closer with IPS.
Currently a friend of mine is trying similar with an alternative site related to support for XenForo.

xenforo support. Now there is a field a site could thrive. Only real support you get on the xenforo site is a good bashing if you don't follow the party line.

I still call it IPB for the most part myself. I think many of us are used to it. I think it might get recognition by folks using that name, still.

Plus, if you already have the domain, why not?

Reactions: AWS
I installed the theme but Neo settled on it and has been tweaking it. The only requirement that they had was that it be responsive, which the default one is. There is a light theme that is also installed but I haven't personally played with it. My "tech" position is more for the server than administering the script itself.
As for the script, it is one of the reasons that they are contemplating vB due to the past history. :ROFLMAO:
The sad thing is both Neo and I don't trust XF LLC enough to not revoke any license that might be used on it.
