Months before forum started getting active

How many months did it take before your forum started getting active? Or did it only take days equal to less than a month?

By active I mean people joining on their own and posting on their own without your encouragement. This would be you logging into your forum to see daily activity and engagement by members who want to be active on the forum.

How long did it take your forum to reach this state?
