How do you optimize your forum or blog for deep reading and discussion rather than quick skimming and quick reaction?
Social media has made running a forum very difficult for us. That's because they've evolved in such a way that their large userbase has gotten used to scanning and skimming for information. Rather than engaging, they simply react with a like button.
This issue or behavior also shows on most forums.
But we want a deeper reading and engagement community, right? Or do we not?
If we do, how do we get there? How do you optimize our blog or forum to lure in deep thought, reading, and engagement?
