Pay for programming

Have you ever paid for programming to be done?

If yes, what was it for?

I tried long time ago, to get some help. But I had actually spent more time explaining what to do that the thing itself would take me to do it and I ended up doing it myself.. (I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was some added features to a project)

I used to run a software called ShareTronix. It was like having your own Twitter. I paid for custom PHP development to extend the features of it.

I have not done it yet but in the future I will surely do it, since programming is quite complex and difficult and only an expert can program without problems
