What does your significant other say about you running forums?

Do they know what it is? Do they understand what it is? Do they help you at all?

My wife and I worked on our geo forum together, and it worked great for us. The only problem was C-19 and the government mandates. Running the geo-forum that promoted going out while there were "please stay at home" orders (they couldn't force you, but Japanese are compliant), would leave an ever-lasting bad impression if it were left open throughout the pandemic. This would've most likely impacted our ability to secure funding to expand and hire out to grow faster, as I would be borrowing on the Japanese side, for a website that promotes tourism.

A lot of the content still remains good, but it does need to be scrubbed because I'd venture to say that the pandemic cost 1/2 the business directory listings to be permanently closed.

My wife knows I have forums.

She's not really into forums. She uses social media but has never been into computers, so it's always been her phone.

She knows I have quite a few of them. She also knows they're just hobbies for me. She knows my blogs are the money makers.

My wife knows too. Asks often about it and is really supportive about it. She even joined a few of them before.
I tell mine about it. She laughs when I say I run a forum about running forums, LOL.

Are you truly a forum owner if you haven’t ran an admin/webmaster forum?😅🤣
True.

It seems to be a popular niche. I think if I ever quit running an admin forum (I have no plans to, though), I would start a webmaster forum.
