I think the age of the Big Board is over.
The only way people are getting big, huge forums these days is by acquiring other forums and merging them. I'm not seeing any new forums growing to anything significant in these modern times.
So, with that being said, do you think we're in an age of smaller forums but forums that build tight knit trusted communities because of their smaller sizes?
Unpopular opinion here but I think it's easier to build a loyal community on a small forum versus a large one where there is too much going on.
How do you all feel about this observation?
