The Winding Down Forum Owner

I notice as many forums grow large in size and activity, sometimes the owner will get less active.

Have you observed this as well?

How do you feel about it? Do you think a forum owner should remain very active no matter what?

There is a point in a community's life where the growth no longer depends on the owner compared to the beginning. That's just a normal thing to happen. But it's always recommended to be as active as you can.

I couldn't imagine not being active as a forum owner. I've created all my forums because I love the topic. I only create them on topics that I can talk about forever. So, I plan to stay active myself. Plus I have a big mouth and love to talk a lot

Yeah. Weekends are usually my disappear days. It's firearms hunting season here, so we're limited on where we can safely explore without dodging bullets.
