Those Promotion Guys

I see a few dedicated people these days. People who visit forums and make friendship just to promote their platform. ie, I have a forum or blog, I do everything on other platforms with the sole aim of promoting mine. They are gone if they sell their forum or blog.

Not sure I would be pleased to have a few of them and proud about it.

Not sure how many people do this, but it's an interesting perspective. I've seen some people sell their forums in the past, but then come right back. It is kind of weird though, but I'm guessing they were hurting for money?

I see that a lot.

People sell out (usually the forum isn't that big) and then they start a new one shortly after that.

If I like the person, I'll usually join the new one even though I know it will probably be sold off again.
