It's a tie between Invision and XenForo.

XenForo is the market leader at the moment with little over 50%. But Invision is making a move with v5.

I am don't know if xenforo is the best, but it's the one I have experience with. And it does the job.

I always prefered IPB. I left because of a disagreement with a staff member. Now that I am moving sites back to IPB I realize I was missing a lot.

Nothing against xenForo. It served me well. Extremely long dev times has always been an albatross for them.

IPB is constantly improving and adding new things. And they communicate.

I broke the tie. XF fan here, but it's what I use the most.
