With CF (and I think even NameSilo when I was with them) you have to specifically disable it as it was a default offering (no additional charge) except on a few specific domains where it is prohibited (the .US being one of them).
While this technically isn't whois privacy, they are using MarkMonitor (the registrar of the big guys to protect their domains from mischievous name server changes/transfers/etc.), and everyone in the know knows that MarkMonitor is essentially whois privacy protection.

I think all of the Fortune 500 companies use MarkMonitor too, but I may be wrong.
They should at least list their corporate address. But, some technically can't, because they're incorporated in Delaware with HQs in Colorado, Texas, and California.
