I have used blogger but since I am using wordpress I have no desire to go back to blogger. Blogger is good for free blogging as you can monetize with Adsense. The best thing about blogger is you can map a custom domain without spending any money.

I never really thought about the AdSense part. Do you have to get to a certain level before you can enable adsense?
