eXtreme .Net Talk is my oldest and most established community. It started in 2001 when Visual Basic was nearing EOL. I had a Visual Basic forum that was the most popular in the niche. When Microsoft announced the advent of Visual Studio .Net the writing was on the wall. I started the .Net site and 20+ years later she is still alive.
I sold the Visual Basic site and .Net site 2007. In 2010 both sites went dark. I contacted the most current owner, it changed hands multiple times after I sold it, and asked if I could acquire the databases. I got a reply with the database from the .Net site. In 2012 it went live.
