I wonder what happened with AWS, he disappeared and ran all his forums on his server at home. The day the server went down, was the day we never saw him again.

He was sick before. I wonder if he got sick again.

I was glad to see him back.

I've tried to reach out but never got anything back.

I had a staff member in 2025 that disappeared on us. Reached out a couple of times until his wife replied he had a seizure and ended up in the hospital. Then also shortly after had a reply from him that he was recovering and returning soon. Sadly that was the last time I heard from him.

It’s sad because you build a network of friends and eventually see them as family. But stuff happens and you never know when’s going to be the last day you see someone.

Yeah.

And it's even worse on social media. Because of how the algorithm doesn't let you see your friends all the time and keeps wanting you to see new things, you miss things.

A friend of mine had died in a car accident and I didn't know about it until about a year after. He was an online friend but I still I would have known.
