Last month, I visited the mall several times and noticed that there were not many moviegoers anymore. It seems that people only go to the theater for highly anticipated movies. I haven't been to the movies since the pandemic began; I now prefer watching films at home. Do you think traditional movie theaters will become outdated in the future?

I have no desire to go to the movies anymore.

I'll watch it on Prime if I can find it.

Everyone once in a while I like to go see a movie. The theatre I go to has recliners and serves craft beer.
Two things would put me to sleep LOL too expensive for a nap LOL

I don't think so. Well, a normal theatres will certainly go out if business but luxury theatres will come into existence and I think IMAX will be more common in future.

It might be a service for the rich. I just can't justify spending that kind of money to watch a 1-to-2-hour movie.

Overtime it will definitely become outdated, unless these movie centers are able to come up with something different to give the person a reason to keep coming back.

COVID unhooked me from being interested in watching movies at the cinema. It made me fall in love with streaming movies and TV shows on Netflix, Hulu and Disney plus.
I left the scene long before COVID, it just got too expensive. There was no ROI.
