Do you take member feedback into account and make changes your forum based on feedback?

How often do you do this and has it helped you grow your forum?

It depends on what type of feedback it is.

I had someone suggest that I implement a sports section on my forum when it’s a gaming forum. I didn’t see a point of implementing a sports section, so I thanked the user for their feedback and turned their suggestion down.

Well, if it's a positive feedback, I'm very sure that more than just a single member would be the one to point it out.

As long as it's something good that's going to benefit the forum, I think it should be adopted.

I might have made a poll to see what everyone thought about the idea of a section and then went from there.

If it wasn't that popular, I'd probably suggest they make topics in the Off Topic area about sports stuff.

I also said we didn’t have enough sports talk to merit a sports subforum, but if there was enough interests and discussions in the main general chat, it’s a possibility that we’d introduce one in the future.

Ray or Conrad will be somewhere looking at you with side eyes on why you wouldn't add a sports sub section in your forum because that's his favourite subject to talk about 😂 😂
