How do you feel about the difficulty level of posting a new post on your blog?

Do you find that creating new content on your blog is easy or difficult? Why is it easy? What is it difficult?

New content often needs to be consistently posted on a blog in order for the blog to grow in audience retention. The content needs to be extremely valuable, written and editing very well, and promoted to an audience.

But the actual act of researching, writing, and editing the post is often what requires the most work and the most time.

My question is how difficult is the process of creating a new blog post to folks doing it? Is blogging easy for you or is it difficult?

The hardest past for me is making a coherent post that is enjoyable to read, with all the information I have that is sprawled everywhere.
I think storytelling is your best asset here.

I like to tune in to The Moth to hear stories from others. When I find one, I really like, I try to determine how I can use their storytelling tactics to create a written blog post using the same tactics but in my own voice.

That sounds like the way to go. It would be something to work on, as I feel like I tend to ramble. Probably have to go through a few drafts first.

You can also get marketing-intent with your sentences.

I call this process, sentence auditing.

Basically, look at each sentence you add to your post. If it doesn't keep the reader hooked or provide some sort of value, then it's fluff. Remove that sentence or rewrite it in a way that makes it worth keeping,

I really like reading Seth Godin's blog (www.seths.blog) because he keeps it short and posts daily and has been for more than a decade. But each sentence he adds, has meaning instead of 1.5K+ words with a lot of fluff in it.
