What are your forum staff requirements?

What do you require of your staff personnel to be staff?

Well, it kinda depends on what their job is first of all.

If they are moderator, I'd obviously expect them to perform moderating duties.

But outside of their normal duties, I might expect them to post once in a while. I wouldn't expect them make a 100 posts a day or anything like that. But a few posts spread out throughout the week would be nice.......just to make them seem like they're an active member of the community.

I currently don't have staff members. But I would require to represent the forum as if it were theirs in all senses.
But first I would like to have time to observe his/her behavior on my forum or on any other forum.

I think that's some fair expectations of staff members!

I like the idea of them representing the forum as if it was their own forum. That's a nice way to see it!

One of my first employers, Javier Elizabeth, taught me this when I was 18. Thanks to that perspective, I’ve had countless opportunities in most places I've been.
