Adding new sections to the forum

How Do You Know When It’s Time to Add (or Remove) a Section?

Do you wait until your membership demands it, or do you wait until you see more of a specific topic or a lack of existing topics?

How do you go about this?

Personally, I don't think I'd have to wait for a member to demand for me to add or remove a section. As long as I'm actively engaging in the forum discussion, I'll see when new topics being made need to have their own designated section and do the needful immediately.

I like to keep it small at first and even dwindle it down further as we go but occasionally, I will ask for feedback to see what everyone thinks and if they have new suggestions.

Asking for feedback isn't bad at all because before that's carried out, you've already noticed some things which clarity is needed on. It helps everyone to feel carried along in what's happening in the community.
