    Treating your forum like a business

    My social media communities are my business I make money from them. I would like to do it on forums as well but it is not possible. You need a very large traffic and engagements, which is almost impossible for forums.

    When I decide to detete a post it is usually hard delete. Whey should I soft delete when I have already made up my mind to delete it.

    Yes. Some niches have a lot of audience and high CPC rate while some do not have audiences and have very low CPC rate

    I haven't used too much of Email Marketing for my forum, since I disabled email options for most forums I join I tend to think my users also do the same.

    WRITING IN ALL CAPS?

    When I started learning digital marketing, my instructor told me all caps means staring. The statement etched so deep inside me that I don't use it and when I see all caps it feels like some one is staring at me.

    I have written for a lot of blogs and websites but never maintained my own blog. However on my communities I post every day, I don’t even remember when I broke that streak. Community posts are short and it is possible. I can't imagine writing for blogs everyday

    Staff members under the age of 18

    I have had staff under 18 successfully moderating my social communities, but I never hire anyone under 18 for indie forums. The risk of targeted abuse, especially mental and emotional harassment from adults, is simply too high in smaller, less-monitored spaces.

    Religious topics

    I have an off-topic section where users can post about anything, including religion, but I wouldn’t actively encourage discussions on religious topics. It’s fine as long as it stays respectful, but I prefer the main forum focus to remain on core subjects.

    Do you still own a CD player?

    I don't have a CD player. I used to have a cassette player and then directly upgraded to mp3 player.

    I don't join a lot of forums, I use very few forums I am mostly active on social media and go yo forums only when I am bored on social media
