Copy+paste word-for-word stolen forum threads and pasted them on their forum.

Too many links aren't just ignored by search engines, but they often result in penalization.

I got to say, I've used Dreamhost for over 15 years, and aside from a few hiccups here and there (like with any host, none of them are perfect), they've been really good to me.
My only complaint is they raised domain name (.com) costs to $20 a year versus the $10 a year it used to be.

I've successfully used fliers and business cards at local events for my local cycling forum.
I don't think business cards would work for this forum unless I was somewhere where a lot of forum owners were at, like a forum convention or something of that nature.
