    Too many links aren't just ignored by search engines, but they often result in penalization. I wouldn't touch the backlink buying services with a 10-foot pole!

    I got to say, I've used Dreamhost for over 15 years, and aside from a few hiccups here and there (like with any host, none of them are perfect), they've been really good to me. My only complaint is they raised domain name (.com) costs to $20 a year versus the $10 a year it used to be.

    Yeah I take most of those sites with a grain of salt. No one is really giving you a true accurate reading especially if there is a paid plan option.
